Christmas Crack

It’s no secret that I love gaby from What’s Gaby Cooking and I finally got around to making her Christmas Crack and guys it’s like, well…crack. We made these for neighbor gifts but there wasn’t enough left after just one day so I had to make another batch. I made a few small changes with cereal amounts (we love the pretzels and cheerios), also I replaced the MnM’s with peppermint ones to make it even more Christmasy and it’s so yummy it’s just ridiculous.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Cheerios
  • 3 cups Rice Chex
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1 1/2 cups Peppermint M&M'S
  • 30 oz white chocolate

Instructions

  • Mix all the cereal, pretzels and MnM’s in a large bowl (I had to use two). Melt the white chocolate using a small pot with a few inches of water in it and a glass bowl put on top of it. Make sure the bottom of the glass bowl is not touching the water. Stir the chocolate constantly until melted then immediately pour over your cereal and mix until everything is evenly coated. Spread it all on a large baking sheet with parchment paper and let harden for a few hours. What was left after those two hours (lol) we broke into smaller chunks and put into zip lock bags and into the freezer, per Gaby’s advice.

When I got downstairs in the morning half of one bag was gone and somehow by the end of that day we were left with less then one bag so obviously I had to make more. Like Gaby would say, no regrets.
